With ESG at its very core, South Bay Social District in Redondo Beach is being reconstructed and transformed to meet and exceed LEED Gold standards.  The transformation is rooted in restoration, sustainability and regenerative efforts with a goal to continuously improve upon the reduction of energy consumption for years to come. We welcome and look forward to a co-tenancy that reflects these values and efforts and seek partners and players who set a parallel path for a better future for the environment.

  • In addition to the inherent sustainability benefits of renovation versus rebuild, the South Bay Social District is targeting the following accreditations and standards:

  • The renovation will create an open-air pavilion experience at the center to drastically reduce heating and cooling in a collective effort to conserve energy while delivering a pleasant user experience.

  • The District will emerge as a hub for transit and transportation. In addition to the bus station on-site, the Green Line Metro extension, adjacent to SBSD, will further connect the LA metro system by 2028.
